What is the BiggerPockets connector?
Run BiggerPockets' deal calculators and search the forums/blog from inside an AI assistant like Claude. Ask in plain language ("I'm looking at a duplex at $340,000 that rents for $2,900 a month — what's my cash flow?") and the assistant runs the same calculation engine as biggerpockets.com, showing results inline.
Built on MCP (Model Context Protocol), an open standard used by Claude and other major AI assistants.
What you need
- A BiggerPockets account — free accounts can connect and search content.
- BiggerPockets Pro (or an active free trial) for the deal calculators — same entitlement that gates calculators on the website, no separate paywall.
How to connect
- In Claude: Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector.
- Enter server URL:
https://www.biggerpockets.com/mcp - Click Connect, sign in to BiggerPockets, and approve the permission request.
- You'll land back in Claude with BiggerPockets connected.
No API key, config file, or install needed.
Other assistants: steps vary slightly — look for "MCP servers," "connectors," or "integrations" in settings and paste the same URL.
What you can do
Analyze a deal — describe the deal in plain language; the assistant picks the right calculator from:

Good to know
- Read-only: calculates from numbers you provide and searches public content. Can't post, message, edit your profile, contact agents/lenders, or purchase anything.
- No saved data: doesn't see your saved deals/reports — enter numbers each time.
- Not advice: same math as the website, but not personalized investment, tax, or legal advice. Garbage in, garbage out — bad inputs produce bad output. Treat as a due-diligence starting point.
Troubleshooting

| Shows "Reconnect" | Authorization expired/revoked — click Reconnect, sign in again. |
| Sign-in fails or loops | Confirm direct sign-in works at biggerpockets.com; check blocked third-party cookies/pop-ups. |
| Results look wrong | Ask the assistant for its exact inputs — usually an assumed value (vacancy rate, PM fee, closing costs) is off. |
Disconnecting
In Claude: Settings → Connectors → BiggerPockets → Remove. Or revoke from your BiggerPockets account settings — takes effect immediately.
